Es.cultura Jointly Organizes National Incentive for GAES

Last September, Es.cultura handled, in collaboration with Barcelona Business Solutions Travel, the full organization of an incentive trip for GAES, regarded as the leader in the hearing aid industry in Spain.

Seville was the city chosen for accommodating the 400+ participants, including sales managers and their families, while the event was staged in the provinces of Seville, Cadiz and Huelva so as to allow them to discover the best of Andalusia, although this did not pose a problem as regards organization and logistics.

On the day of the participants’ arrival, they were treated to an interesting private tour of the Reales Alcazares of Seville, followed by Es.cultura’s now famous tapas route in the city centre… a tapas route for over 400 people!

During the two following days, the participants were divided into two groups: on the first day, one of the groups were given a guided tour of Seville’s attractions and monuments, including Plaza de España, the Santa Cruz quarter, La Giralda, etc.; while the other group was taken to Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz) to visit Doñana National Park, followed by a picnic on the beach. On the following day, the two groups interchanged destinations so that they both had the opportunity to visit Seville and the national park.

At the end of each day, there was a unique dinner: a April Fair theme dinner featuring the typical casetas, rumba and sevillana groups, the women participants dressed in typical costumes, "rebujito" (sherry and lemonade) and manzanilla, etc., the party carrying on until late at night; and a dinner at the Gonzalez-Byass winery, including a guided tour of the facilities, with a flamenco show.

On the third day, an exclusive Rocio pilgrimage, with traditional choirs, drums, carts and coaches, a tour of the hermitage… in short, all that was necessary for making the participants feel like authentic pilgrims!

Lastly, the participants spent the whole of the last day on an Andalusian farm where they had the chance to see fighting bulls in their natural environment, as well as an impressive horse show, while savouring the best of local cuisine. After the closing dinner, all the participants returned to their hotel to prepare for the return trip.

The incentive was a resounding success: more than 400 people had the chance to discover and experience Andalusian customs, traditions, cities and nature… a unique and unforgettable experience that they will surely never forget.

The aim of the trip was undoubtedly achieved: to surprise a company committed to its staff, offering them the best incentive trips all over the world. On this occasion, they chose Spain and, specifically, Andalusian companies and resources.
