In 2009, the Seville- and Huelva-based event and communication agency Es.cultura designed a number of new activities with the aim of continuing to offer its clients new experiences.

Last year, Es.cultura launched several new programmes, including business incentives, historical recreation tours of Seville and Huelva, parties, anti-crisis and leisure programmes, and charitable activities, among others.

The company’s historical tours featured the “Quay of the Caravels” (see video below), an historical recreation of Christopher Columbus and the brothers Pinzon setting sail on their voyage of discovery in the Pinta, Niña and Santa Maria, in the very place where it occurred over 500 years ago; and the “Carmen Trail”, a different way of getting to know Seville through the legend of Carmen, brought to life with singing, dancing and playacting.

As regards business incentives, the most important programmes designed by Es.cultura included a authentic pilgrimage for 130 people, “Take!” in which the participants are transformed for the day into a real film crew with the aim of producing their own spot, “Spain Express”, an adventure activity in which the participants ingenuity and skills are put to the test, and a 70s party held in the gardens of a hotel in Seville.

Fully aware of budget cuts companies have had to implement because of the downturn, in 2009 Es.cultura produced an amusing anti-crisis spot.

In addition, Es.cultura participated in the campaign “There’s another Seville”, organized by Seville Provincial Council, which was carried out on the beaches of Andalusia with the aim of promoting regional tourism.

Lastly, to end the year on a good note, the company organized charity office parties for companies looking for an original, fun and responsible way of celebrating Christmas.
