On 14 November, Airbus Military held its Family Day for the family members of its staff of 3,000 so as to allow them to get to know firsthand its San Pablo and Tablada factories. In all, 30,000 people attended the event.

The Family Day began at 9am with a tour of the static display of aircraft and exhibition area. In addition, workshops, shows and amusing activities were organized for the attendees with the aim of showing them Seville’s aeronautic tradition.

Es.cultura (Eventos + Comunicacion) was commissioned to design most the programme of this multitudinous event: entertainment and decoration, games, workshops, and the passports with which the attendees visited the different leisure areas and which were stamped after completing each activity.

There was also a children’s play area with bouncy castles, trampolines, workshops and traditional games such as face painting, origami, balloon bending and customization, etc., providing entertainment for the whole family.

In the "Remember Your Childhood" area, a number of traditional games transported the adults among the public back to their childhood, allowing them to show their children the kind of games they used to play when they were the same age.

A creative plane was used in the photo call, and in this relaxed atmosphere the participants were given the opportunity to have their photograph taken in the factory as a keepsake.

The participants also got to know firsthand the full range of Airbus Military, including the A400M military tactical transport aircraft, Eurofighter, Saeta and A330, as well as the interior of the A380 superjumbo, the largest existing commercial aircraft. A group of volunteers were on hand to explain to the public the workings of the company’s different departments. Last but not least, there was an air display including an A400M, a C295, two C-101 and a Eurofighter.

Es.cultura’s team continues to strive for excellence as regards the activity programmes it designs for its clients.
