Digital Marketing Only Profitable Investment in 2009

According to Zenith Media’s latest report, the digital media will constitute the only profitable channel in 2009.

Based on this forecast, Maria Angeles Diaz, director of the consulting firm Avante Corporate Public Relations, recently organized a seminar for Marbella-based entrepreneurs in which she addressed the opportunities for growth open to companies that make greater and more efficient use of web-based marketing tools.

Maria Angeles Diaz began the seminar, in which over 20 Marbella-based companies participated, by stating that, according to the Pareto principle, 20% of digital marketing tools generate 80% of all sales.

The matters addressed during the seminar highlighted the importance of SEO for corporate websites. Social network marketing, ways of making the most of these channels to increase corporate website traffic, designing effective e-mail marketing strategy, and purchasing adequately using databases in line with LOPDE and LSSI were also discussed. Last but not least, the importance of opt-in marketing for networking and generating profit was examined.

All the participants agreed that the seminar was useful for getting to know tools with shorter ROI periods which provide more precise metrics.
