After three years of collaboration, De Boer and the Royal Polo Club of Barcelona signed an institutional partner agreement on 23 January 2008.
Last year, De Boer was the official supplier of the Bonmont Open of Catalonia and will continue to collaborate with the club in the polo and paddle tennis tournaments scheduled to be held on 3 and 11 May 2008, respectively.

It is a great honour for De Boer to be able to continue to co-operate with Barcelona’s prestigious Polo Club, and the company hopes that this will be the first of a series of interesting joint projects.
De Boer at the Mobile World Congress
The Mobile World Congress, the world’s most important mobile telephone event, ended on 14 February at the Barcelona’s Fira. De Boer was responsible for supplying and assembling temporary facilities for the event, whose attendance figures way surpassed the 55,000 visitors registered last year. The event’s record-breaking attendance figures go to show the amazing growth of the mobile telephone industry.
The comfort and décor of De Boer’s temporary facilities surpassed the event organisers’ expectations. Once more, De Boer proved its professionalism and experience in supplying temporary structures for corporate events and congresses.
De Boer again excelled itself by assembling more than 10,000sqm of temporary structures in a fortnight. A 50x20m two-storey Emperor, housing a restaurant and spacious terrace, was among the star attractions. There was also a number of Alu Halls, Chalets and Dempras, which were used for registration and exhibiting purposes. In addition, a hospitality area was fitted out for an Arab telephone company in the emblematic Pueblo Español. In addition, a 12x10m Alu Hall was decorated as an airport lounge, whose 33sqm terrace afforded guests marvellous views.
