The leader in scooter rental has just disembarked in Brazil with the opening of two showrooms, one in São Paulo and the other in Rio de Janeiro.

Cooltra Motos continues to implement its internationalization strategy with the opening of two showrooms in Brazil, specifically in the country’s two most popular tourist destinations: São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The aim of this move is to continue to internationalize the company by penetrating new markets. This strategy’s main aim is to promote sustainable mobility with the introduction of 50 electric scooters, 16 of which are based in Campos de Jordão.

Cooltra Motos has begun its Brazilian venture implementing a business model based on providing clients with advanced services geared to sustainable mobility, offering more attractive and environmentally friendly urban transport solutions. Given the Brazilian socio-cultural market’s enormous potential, there is a demand to be met by improving urban transport and sustainable mobility.

A town in state of São Paulo, Campos de Jordão’s geography and location make it an ideal place to promote sustainable urban mobility services. With the introduction of a fleet of 125cc electric scooters for short rentals and tours, it is estimated that this ecotourism initiative will have a notable impact on the area.
.
Another reason why Campos de Jordão was chosen as the place to launch this initiative is due mainly to the fact that potential clients both from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro attend the International Winter Festival, one of the most important classical music festivals in Latin America.

Cooltra was the first company to provide a large-scale scooter rental service in Europe. With an innovative vision based on style, agility and sustainability, Cooltra will now implement its urban mobility solutions, backed by eight years of experience, through its fleet of electric scooters in Brazil.

Timo Buetefisch, founder of the company and a Vespa fan, started business in Barcelona in 2006 with only 60 scooters. Thanks to his business acumen, Cooltra now has a fleet of 3,000 scooters available at over 100 rental points.
