MPI, the largest association of meetings and events professionals in the world, with over 22,000 members, chose Andalusia to hold one of the industry’s leading events, this being the first time that the association has held one of its international conferences in Spain.
The European Meetings and Events Conference 2010 (EMEC), which was held at the Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Malaga from 28 February-3 March, attracted more than 400 meetings and event professionals who had the opportunity to attend keynotes and sessions on the industry’s latest trends, and share experiences with experts from all over the world.
The event’s organizing committee commissioned the Malaga-based company Clave to provide the event staff to attend the delegates at the airport, the congress centre and the gala dinners.
