Chinese Tour Operators now have Andalusia in Their Sights

According to the results of a survey conducted by the Andalusian regional government during “Andalusia in China, a symposium held in Beijing, Canton and Shanghai between 13-17 November, 40% of Chinese tour operators now include the region in their brochures.

Promising results
The findings of the survey show that Andalusia is a favourite destination with the Chinese. Madrid and Barcelona are the most requested cities, followed by Seville, Cordova, Granada and Malaga.

Site seeing
As regards activities, the Chinese prefer sight seeing. Andalusian culture is also high on the list, especially everything related to flamenco and art.

A market with a future
Although the Chinese market has registered a slow growth, the Spanish Embassy at Beijing has drawn attention to the fact that it has potential in the medium term, a statement based on the number of tourist visas issued, which is growing at a yearly rate of 50%.
