The organisers of the FINEST Charity Concert and Gourmet Dinner for the Anti-AIDS Association Concordia have said that they are delighted with the success of the event, held at the Taberna del Alabardero restaurant on 21 February 2008. The event raised 6,000 euros, which were given to HRH Princess Maria Luisa of Prussia, the president of the association, for funding the important projects that Concordia plans to execute in its centres located San Pedro and Fuengirola.
The funds were raised from the tickets purchased by the 70 guests present at the event. Tickets cost 125 euros, of which the magazine FINEST donated 100 to the charity association. “The event wouldn’t have been possible without the enormous support of La Taberna del Alabardero, with an excellent and unforgettable dinner,” said Gudula Freytag, the luxury guide’s representative on the Costa del Sol, who also thanked the rest of the sponsors for donating the tombola prizes, which was held at the end of the evening.

FINEST addresses MARBELLA will be organising every year. Guests were treated to a concert of opera arias and piano solos performed by the tenor Hans-Dieter Nader and the pianist Prof. Siegfried Schick. After the concert, guests sat down to a delicious gourmet dinner prepared by the Taberna del Alabardero restaurant. The 16 winners of the tombola were very pleased with their prizes, courtesy of Alejandro Hermann, Fischer Mercedes, RBS Coutts, Fashionvilla, San Roque Club, Loani Linen Home, Steinberg, MarcCain, Owanto, Incosol Medical and Spa Hotel, Ruperto de Nola, Manuel Spinosa, George Henry “hair for all” and FINEST addresses. The roses given to the ladies at the end of evening were courtesy of the company Deseos.
The President of Concordia, HRH Princess Maria Luisa of Prussia, thanked Mr Ewald Schwarzer, editor of the Schwarzer Group, as well as the dinner guests, for the important sum raised for the association.
