Barcelona’s International Convention Centre (CCIB) has just appointed Carolina Garcia Serra to the post of Business and Marketing Director.
With a degree in Tourism and a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Communication from EADA, Carolina Garcia Serra has en excellent track record in the MICE Industry. After a long career, including 11 years at Ultramar Event Management, TUI Spain’s MICE division, CCIB new executive has experience in organizing large events, such as EIBTM and the Mobile World Congress, among others.
In her new post as CCIB’s Business and Marketing Director, Garcia Serra will be responsible for client business relations and attracting new business and events, as well as defining and implementing the centre’s marketing strategy for the next few years.
This appointment reinforces the professionalism of CCIB’s new organizational structure. In the words of Marc Rodriguez, the centre’s CEO, “the incorporation of Garcia Serra consolidates the strength of CCIB’s team. Her professionalism and experience in the industry will doubtlessly help us maintain our position as Southern Europe’s top convention centre.”
