Following the merger of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Auditorium and the Perez Galdos Theatre Foundations, the Canaries Congress Centre’s facilities have been expanded with the incorporation of the theatre’s seven venues, which are fully equipped for congresses and satisfy the needs of event planners.

The Perez Galdos Theatre, which features seven unique venues equipped with cutting-edge technology, is a perfect place for scientific, business and social events. The Coliseo Function Room – the theatre’s main facility – can accommodate up to 1,007 people and includes a stage that can be adapted to the requirements of any event.

Given its enormous architectural and artistic value, the Saint Saëns Function Room is the theatre’s most prominent venue. The facility features the main works of the painter Nestor Martin Fernandez de la Torre, converting it into a unique venue for any kind of event.

Other facilities available at the theatre include the Main Lobby, which is ideal for receptions and cocktail parties, the Press Room, which can accommodate a maximum of 80 people, and the Maestro Valle Function Room, with a maximum capacity of 100 people, all of which can be adapted to events of any size.

Affording stunning views of the city’s historic centre and the sea, the Theatre Terrace is an ideal place for outdoor cocktail parties for up to 100 guests. The Practice Room is one of the Perez Galdos Theatre’s most versatile facilities, since it can be used for conferences, events, and celebrations. Seating up to 300 delegates, it also features an ample terrace with views of the Plaza Tenor Stagno.

Thanks to the merger of the two foundations, the Canaries Congress Centre now offers additional facilities for staging unique events in a heritage building located in the historic centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
