Biggest Ever Edition of Online Marketing Spain Trade Show and Congress

Madrid’s Municipal Congress Centre will be hosting the 4th edition of the Online Marketing Spain Trade Show and Congress (OME 2008) from 12 al 13 March 2008. With a significantly greater number of exhibitors than last year, the event will include a broader congress and seminar programme, as well as a number of innovations and new features.

OME 2008, to be held at Madrid’s Municipal Congress Centre from 12-13 March, will attract a large number of international companies with a growing interest in gaining a foothold in the Spanish market. There will be over 70 exhibitors at this year’s edition of the event, compared with the 50 that were registered last year.

Some of Spain and Europe’s key players in the online marketing industry will be sharing their experiences at OME 2008, with the aim of stimulating constructive debate. This year’s edition will revolve around how to efficiently apply online marketing to areas such as IPTV/video, affiliation, metrics and search engine marketing.

Together with mobile marketing, which will be one of the event’s mainstays thanks to the collaboration of MMA Spain, there will be a large number of exhibitors showcasing the latest products related to search engine marketing, web analytics and affiliate marketing. Furthermore, online advertising sales providers, media agencies and e-commerce and technology providers will also exhibiting their products and services.

The MMA Meeting Point will have the largest stand, which will be occupied by 10 companies belonging to the mobile marketing sector, including Orange, Mobext, Unkasoft, PDM Digital Marketing, Vodafone, Publicidad Interactiva, and Screen Tonic, among others.

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) will be holding to roundtables at the London Hall on 12 March: one addressing mobile Internet, with the participation of Movistar, Vodafone and Orange, the three largest mobile telephone operators in Spain; and the other covering the opportunities mobile advertising offers the corporate world. There will also be a number of interactive workshops and keynote speeches.

OME 2008 will have separate areas for congresses and seminars. In the congress area (equipped with simultaneous translation booths), over 80 top keynote speakers from Spain and abroad will present the newest strategies, innovations and trends in all the fields of digital marketing.

The seminar area will be located in the exhibition area, where 30 companies will present their proposals and studies, as well as showcasing their latest products in two adjacent halls.

OME is organised in collaboration with MMA, ICEMD, FECEMD, AEAW, IAA, Professional Marketers’ Association, Marketing Executive Club of Madrid, Emailing Solution and Confianza Online, with the support of specialised publications such as IPMARK, Interactiva, El Publicista, Marketing Directo, Impactos, Marketing Online, Brandlife, Mediosfera, Marketalia, NetMedia Europe, Marketing en Red and LatinSpots.
