During the event, scheduled to take place at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYMCA) from 5-8 November, the Gallardo del Rey International Guitar Competition will be presented officially.
Following the success of the first edition, which was attended by 5,000 visitors, the chief objective of the second edition of the International Guitar Fair is to increase the number of international brands, visitors and luthiers, with a broader offering of instruments.
The organizers of Guitar Fair are now working on delivering content that will convert the fair into a must-attend event for experts and amateurs, alike, with a wide range of world-class exhibitors, talks, clinics and conferences revolving around the artistic dimension of these instruments and the business opportunities stemming from international demand – above all from important markets such as Germany, USA and Japan – as well as demonstrations and exhibitions.
One of the new features of Guitar Fair will be the official presentation of the Gallardo del Rey International Guitar Competition, which pays homage to the well-known composer Jose Maria Gallardo del Rey, who also sits on the expert committee advising the organizers on content design and proposals. The aim of this initiative is to underline the union between different styles and musicality.
