Belen Madrid Named New MICE Director of PortAventura Business and Events and PortAventura Convention Centre

In her new post as MICE director of PortAventura Business & Events y PortAventura Convention Centre, Belen Madrid will manage PortAventura’s corporate business.

With a degree in tourism from the School of Tourism of Madrid, in addition to a business management diploma from the University of Alcala de Henares and a master in hospitality management from Cornell University (New York), Madrid also has a master in hotel management from ESDEN Madrid, where she won the best management project prize.

Madrid has over 22 years of experience in the industry, her last post being MICE director of Palladium Hotel Group. She has also worked as sales manager at Meetbarcelo, as well as occupying several managerial posts at Melia Hotels.
