The Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento’s new Wi-Fi network ensures optimum Internet access regardless of the number of devices connecting simultaneously and the needs of each user.

Fully refurbished in 2012, the Guadalquivir riverside Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel has just installed a congress and convention Wi-Fi network provided by Instalaciones y Sistemas, a partner of Ubiquiti Network.

The new Wi-Fi network has full connectivity and access to the cloud so as to be able to satisfy the requirements of any type of event or convention.

A total of 133 wireless access points provide hotel guests and the professionals in charge of the many events held at the hotel with Wi-Fi services. The technology behind this new Wi-Fi network allows for a data transmission rate of up to 300mbp/sec and 1Gb physical connections, ensuring fast upload and download speeds.

Furthermore, the hotel is about to incorporate 5Ghz Wi-Fi technology, with the aim of guaranteeing connectivity for international events that already use this type of technology.

So as to understand the extent to which the property’s Wi-Fi network has been improved, it features over 20km of fibre optic cable, allowing 10,000 users to simultaneously access it throughout the hotel. In short, event attendees can now make the most of the property’s improved connectivity and rapid Internet access.

Access to this private and independent network is free for hotel guests, both in the property’s communal areas and guest rooms, thus satisfying what is now an essential service in an increasingly more connected world.
