Antequera’s Trade Show and Exhibition Centre, which was scheduled to open in 2006, and then in January 2009, now has a definite completion date. With a final cost of around 12 million euros, Isfera will be ready for business in January 2010.

The partnership formed by the contractors Construcciones Rebollo, Teconsa and Agricultores de la Vega de Valencia will take 17 months to build Antequera’s Trade Show and Exhibition Centre, which means that, instead of January 2009, Isfera will be open for business in January 2010.

Arkingenia has designed a building with modern lines housing a 5,215m2 exhibition hall with a capacity of 150 exhibitors, as well as an outdoor exhibition area of 6,000m2, 8,807m2 of gardens and service facilities, and another area of 2,500m2 for parking and loading and unloading.

The communal areas, function rooms with the latest in audio-visual equipment, premises for rent, warehouses and exhibition hall will be located on the bottom floor of the main building, while the top floor will be occupied by office space, an auditorium for 215 people, a restaurant accommodating 252 diners, and a cafeteria.
