Antequera to Host International Flamenco Congress

From 3-6 September 2008, Antequera (Malaga) will be hosting the 36th International Flamenco Congress, revolving around the theme Flamenco in Andalusian Culture. Approximately 250 flamenco enthusiast and speakers from all over the world are expected to attend the event.

The event will be held in two venues: the meeting facilities of the Antequera Golf Hotel will be used for keynotes and sessions during the morning, and there will be performances at the town’s bullring from 10pm onwards, admission being free of charge.
