Almendralejo will Host the 6th Congress of Spanish Wine Museums

Almendralejo (Badajoz) has been chosen from a number of candidacies, including Malaga and Briones, to host the 6th Congress of Spanish Wine Museums.

Wine Science Museum
The congress, which will be held in all likelihood in the spring of 2008, after the Wine and Olive Fair and Easter Week, will coincide with the opening of the town’s Wine Science Museum.

Spanish Wine Museum Association
Formed in 2005, the objective of the Spanish Wine Museum Association is to serve as a platform for co-operation, joint research and meetings between members so as to promote, disseminate and defend common interests and activities, as well as wine culture in general and Spain’s different wine-growing areas.
