AENA, El Corte Ingles, Mercasa, RENFE and Unicaja have announced that they will be sponsoring the city commerce forum Agora, scheduled to be held at Malaga’s Trade Show and Congress Centre from 6-8 May 2008. Key players from public institutions, professional associations and private companies associated with the development of city centres and commerce will be attending the forum to analyse the present state of affairs and share experiences.
These companies regard Agora, Spain’s foremost forum for discussing city commerce, a sector that represents 12% of the country’s GDP, as an ideal place to show their commitment to the development of cities, commerce and productive sectors in general.
Participants in the 1st International Urban Commerce Congress will analyse the future of the existing concept of “city”. The event will also include an exhibition area, its “Interactive Workshop” for experience-sharing, and a good practice guide.
