From the 21-23 September, Malaga’s Trade Show and Congress Centre will be hosting the 1st “Without Barriers” Trade Show, a must for sectors involved in helping to eradicate barriers restricting the quality of life and autonomy of the handicapped, the dependent and the aged.

A large number of Spanish and International professionals, company directors, associations and collectives representing all the commercial sectors providing for the handicapped and the dependent will be attending this 1st edition of “Without Barriers”.

The market for products and services for the disabled and the dependent has entered a boom period thanks to a growing number of campaigns for the social inclusion of the more than 3.5 million disabled people in Spain – nearly 10% of the population – in the workplace and education, and for improving accessibility through standardised designs.

The trade fair constitutes an ideal meeting place and platform for companies and agencies related to the sector that want to showcase their products and services, as well as the technological advances geared to improving the quality of life of the disabled and the dependent, and offering them equal opportunities.

Exhibition and conference areas
The exhibition area will be located in Pavilion 2 of Malaga’s Trade Show and Congress Centre. Exhibitors will include Embarba (lifts), Unicaja Obra Social, the Spanish National Organisation of the Blind (ONCE), and the Eroski Foundation. In addition, a programme of cultural activities and entertainment has been organised.

Furthermore, the trade fair’s parallel programme will include round tables and conferences given by well-known professionals and experts in the field.

The lack of trade shows of this type, organised in Spain on this scale, attracting a broad spectrum of service and product providers for all kinds of disability and dependency, makes “Without Barriers” a must for exhibitors and visitors, alike.
