The corporate event company has organized seven experiences for international brands in just under four months, thanks to an agreement signed last September with Moove.

Enigma Pad, keyed to discovering Barcelona through surprises, secrets, challenges and enigmas, is one of Exploramas’ activities, a gymkhana in which a 1,000 people have participated in just under a month.

Specifically, since last September, when the corporate event company incorporated Moove technology in this activity, seven experiences have been organized for international companies in Barcelona.

"Enigma iPad is one of our most popular activities," said Elke Bührer, manager of Exploramas’ Barcelona office, "since it is fun, promotes team spirit, and allows participants to get to know the destination in an interactive way."

This experience is a corporate activity that combines a treasure hunt and gymkhana with team-building. Divided into teams, the participants are asked to solve enigmas and meet challenges so as to complete a circuit in the destination of choice.

In all these activities organized by Exploramas, "the participants have visited some of Barcelona’s most well-known attractions, including La Boqueria Market and the Gothic Quarter, as well as other less known ones such as Plaça Sant Felip Neri or the Patio del Museu Frederic Marés," explained the director of the company’s Barcelona office.

With this activity, participants are given an iPad and a map to help them overcome creative, cultural and culinary challenges. "We never organize two identical experiences, since the needs of our clients vary hugely," said Bührer, before going on to emphasize "the surprise factor, fun and commitment of all the participants as value added in these gymkhanas."

Exploramas incorporated Moove technology in this activity at the end of September 2013. Although it did not receive its baptism in Barcelona but in Princeton, during the first event organized by the company in USA. "It was an amazing experience outside Spain and a resounding success."

After the event in Princeton, the company has since organized another six, all in Barcelona. The last Enigma iPad took place on 1 February. "In total, to date we have organized and engaged 90 teams in these gymkhanas with Moove technology in Barcelona," said Bührer, who expects to see an increase in demand during 2014.

"We are experts in creating this type of urban experience and it is something that our clients appreciate; in fact, it was because of this that we were commissioned to organize the experience in Princeton," she continued, before concluding that "technology is not the key, but the experience we manage to create through its use."
