Vueling expands its offer in the Balearic Islands, Barcelona and Valencia

The company will incorporate 65 new direct routes in airports in Spain and Europe during the whole month of August

The airline Vueling has extended its offer of flights in the airports of Barcelona, Balearic Islands and Valencia, as announced in a statement.

At Barcelona Airport, Vueling has increased its offer of national and international routes in August with the addition of eight new destinations. 

The airline will operate 80 direct routes with a volume of 1,520 weekly flights leaving or arriving from Barcelona in August, of which it will incorporate: Keflavík (Iceland), Zagreb (Croatia), Faro (Algarve, in Portugal), Malta, Turin (Italy), Valencia, Alghero (Italy) and Nuremberg (Germany).

In July, it added up to 72 direct routes, 24 of which connect to domestic destinations and another 48 to international capitals, such as Paris (Orly and Charles de Gaulle), London (Gatwick), Rome (Fiumicino), Florence, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Stockholm, Athens, Dubrovnik, Prague and Vienna, among others.

Valencian Community

From August, the company will add 13 new direct connections from Valencia and Alicante, and in total will operate 33 direct national and international routes, thus reaching a volume of approximately 280 weekly flights (between departures and arrivals).

During June and July the company is gradually incorporating up to 20 direct routes from Valencia and Alicante-Elche airports. To these will be added 13 new links: from Valencia to Barcelona, Seville, Fuerteventura, A Coruña, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lisbon; and from Alicante-Elche to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Asturias, Rome (Fiumicino), Amsterdam and Zurich.

Nine new routes from the Balearic Islands

From next August Vueling will launch nine new routes from the Balearic Islands. Specifically there will be six new links from Mallorca, two from Menorca and one from Ibiza. In total, Vueling will increase its offer in August to 53 direct routes from the Balearic Islands.

Thus, during June and July the company is gradually incorporating up to 44 direct routes from the islands. To these will be added nine new routes in August.
Thus, from Majorca it will be possible to fly to Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Jerez, Alicante, Valencia, Bilbao, Asturias, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Santander, Zaragoza, Paris, Nantes, Marseille, Amsterdam, Munich, Stuttgart, Zurich, Lisbon, Rome, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Cardiff and Vienna.

From Menorca you can go to Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Alicante, Valencia, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Paris and Rome. From Ibiza, on the other hand, you can travel to Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Bilbao, Alicante, Valencia, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Rome, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam and Lisbon.

Global offer for August

Vueling will add 65 new direct routes to its overall offer at airports in Spain and Europe throughout August, reaching a total of 240 routes, 95 of which are domestic, equivalent to 2,800 weekly flights.

The airline has launched a special promotion with a 20% discount on all its routes with the purchase of tickets to fly between 3 August and 31 October, an offer available between 8 and 10 July.
