Last summer IFEMA carried out a major renovation project of its WIFI system thanks to which the site offers free connection to any attendee to a fair or event, without distinction.
This network, called Ifema Free, is a courtesy network available throughout the venue except in outdoor areas. It has a bandwidth of 2 Mb with no connection time limit, allows IFEMA to collect data from users and will have pop-up windows. The new WIFI system allows up to 64,000 simultaneous connections today and up to 100,000 in the future.
In addition IFEMA continues to offer the Wifi Ad Hoc network (low budget). As its name indicates, it is a network that is custom designed taking into account the needs of the event. This network has no pop-ups and does not collect data.
