FYCMA TRAVELS TO SAN SEBASTIÁN TO PARTICIPATE IN A MEETING AIMED AT PROFESSIONALS AND PROVIDERS OF TOURISM MEETINGS AND EVENTS

Representatives of FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) will participate from tomorrow, Thursday and until Friday 22 February in a conference organized by the Basque Association of Professional Organizers of Congresses and Events (OPCE) and the Spanish Federation of Business Associations of Professional Organization of Congresses (OPC Spain). The 'OPC Spain National Congress', which will be held in San Sebastian for the 31st time, will allow FYCMA to make contact with more than 300 professionals in order to strengthen links with the main agents in the sector and potential prescribers of the Palacio, as well as to access the latest trends related to innovation as an added value.

FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) will attend the 31st OPC Spain National Congress from tomorrow, promoted by the Basque Association of Professional Congress and Event Organising Companies (OPCE) and the Spanish Federation of Associations of Professional Congress Organising Companies (OPC España). The meeting, which will take place in San Sebastian, has as its main objective to bring together professionals, companies and suppliers linked to tourism meetings and events to address a training days with innovation applied to the sector as the protagonist.

In this way, from tomorrow, Thursday, until Friday, February 22, commercial representatives of the Palace will be able to get in touch with the more than 300 attendees that the organization of the congress hopes to host during the conference and with whom they will be able to exchange experiences and experiences of their respective organizations. Therefore, it is an opportunity to make known the offer of the Malaga venue to potential prescribers. Under the slogan "Experience, commitment and technology for the events of the 21st century", this 31st edition focuses on contributing in an innovative way to the conception of the challenges and opportunities of the MICE sector - Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions -, adding value both to the events and to the territory where its work is carried out. These three vectors will be reflected in the programme through lectures, workshops, networking events and technical visits.

Thus, the participants will deal with the most current aspects such as the new technological advances applied to events, the improvement of the attendee's experience, innovation in services, the way to make events more sustainable, the importance of return on investment in meetings and in the territories in which they are developed or innovation through gastronomy, among others. New this year will be launched, prior to the congress, a collective challenge that will be solved with artificial intelligence, thus demonstrating the great potential for innovation of a sector such as organizing conferences, meetings and events.

It is worth mentioning that OPC España is a federation made up of 11 regional associations of OPC companies (Professional Congress Organiser), with more than 100 full member companies and more than 200 collaborating companies. For its part, the Basque Association of Professional Congress and Event Organisers (OPCE) was born thanks to the union of different companies specialising in the organisation of congresses and events, backed up by their professionalism, experience, operability, learning, creativity, innovation, sustainability and efficiency.
