Continue to work on the development and promotion of Meeting Tourism in Spain

The last meeting of the MICE Forum has approved the integration of the association Agencias de Eventos Españolas Asociadas (AEVEA) to this working group in which the main associations of Tourism of Meetings of the country are represented. In this meeting, the MICE Forum roadmap for 2019 was also discussed, with new strategies and public-private alliances to advance and develop sustainable growth in the sector.

In 2012, at the initiative of the Spanish PCO Federation and the international associations MPI, ICCA, SITE -in its Iberian Chapters- and SpainDMCs, the MICE Forum was born with the aim of becoming a reference sectorial interlocutor and giving visibility to the industry of congresses, meetings, incentives and events. In short, a meeting point where to focus on MICE and reflect on this activity through the promotion, training of talent and measurement of the economic impact generated by Meeting Tourism.

One of the main activities to be carried out by the MICE Forum in 2019 will be the second edition of its Annual Meeting, which will take place on 13 March at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel.
