The CEO of Costa del Sol Tourism, Jacobo Florido, notes that 2019 will be the "definitive recovery" of the domestic market with 4.8% more travelers
The national market is the most important for the Costa del Sol and more promotion is done, better, specially after a few years in which the crisis has diminished the economic capacity of Spaniards and have traveled less to Malaga. Now is in full recovery phase and Costa del Sol Tourism wants to shore it up.
The CEO of this body under the Diputación de Málaga, Jacobo Florido, explained today at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur) that will invest this year one million euros in 60 promotional actions throughout Spain with the aim of attracting more domestic tourists. It will attend, in addition to this traditional Fitur that takes place these days, specialized fairs such as Tierra Adentro or Expovacaciones, among others. There will also be door to door actions or participate in various conferences.
