Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of Catalonia’s most outstanding modernist architects, and completed by his son Pere Domènech i Roura, Casa Convalescencia is an exceptional building, managed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, forming a part of the historical Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
