MSB Events Triumphs at First Edition of Event

The Spanish multinational trade show service provider MSB Events has successfully participated in the first edition of Event, held at Madrid’s Ifema from 18-20 June 2008, with its own stand. The company showcased its new corporative image – consequence of the merger last year between Massa Events and J. Barzano – as well as its wide range of products and services.

During the three-day trade show, MSB Events has the opportunity to showcase its products and services and the new dimensions that the recent merger has opened up for the company. Participating with its own stand, specially designed for the occasion, the company succeeded in generating nearly 400 leads.

Nowadays, MSB Events is one of leading companies in the Spanish MICE industry, with a yearly turnover of approximately 30 million euros, its services being engaged for 200 national trade shows and 25 international ones a year.

Good results for Event
More than 90 companies from all of the MICE industry’s different sectors (temporary structures, marketing services, audio-visual suppliers, catering services, event staff agencies, meetings and event software, furniture designers, etc.) exhibited their products and services geared to congresses, corporate events, seminars and presentations. In addition, the technical seminars included well-known keynote speakers and MICE experts, who addressed subjects such as sustainable events and congress centre decentralisation.

More than 2,000 professionals attended the trade show held at Ifema to get to know firsthand the latest trends in this dynamic industry that moves around 5,000 million euros a year in Spain.
