Last Wednesday, the head office of the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) hosted a presentation of Málaga Innovation Festival, whose first edition will be held in Malaga from 5-11 June. The professionals and representatives of the companies based at the park attending the presentation got to know firsthand the festival’s programme, its novelties and how to participate in each one of the parallel activities – over 30 – linked to innovation and entrepreneurship.
The programme’s main events include the 8th edition of Greencities, the Forum of Urban Intelligence and Sustainability; the first edition of Hi!Drone, the Drone Technology Show – both scheduled to be held from 7-8 June; and the EBAN Málaga 2017 Congress, the annual flagship event organized by the European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds and Early Stage Market Players (from 7-9 June).
Other events to be held at the Málaga Innovation Festival include the Transferencias Design seminars, the launching of Polo Digital, the Global Entrepreneurship, Málaga Innovation Showcase, Databeers, Club Mundi Annual Event, Hackathon #JAMalaga, and Google Entrepreneurship Activate. Over 8000 professionals, more than 400 investors with a global investment capacity in the region of €500 million, some 600 startups, and approximately 300 speakers are expected to participate in this initiative promoted by Malaga City Council.
