Antonio González Marín, director general of the Andalusian Agency for Innovation and Development (IDEA), and Antonio González Marín, manager of Congresos y Turismo de Sevilla (CONTURSA), the company managing the Exhibition and Congress Centre of Seville (FIBES), have recently signed a collaboration agreement in order to reinforce the position of Andalusia as a region for business investment. The aim of the agreement is to attract international events that contribute to highlighting the opportunities and advantages that Andalusia offers foreign investors.
This agreement falls within the actions of IDEA, as an entity under the aegis of the Department of Employment, Business and Trade responsible for attracting foreign investment, aimed at positioning Andalusia as a region suitable for international investment in order to strengthen its business fabric.
Collaboration with FIBES is very important to facilitate the organization of international events that contribute to positioning Andalusia so as attract foreign investment.
This collaboration agreement with CONTURSA is the first that IDEA has signed with institutions of this type. The idea is to continue along the same lines, since it is essential to establish a collaboration framework with Andalusia’s main conference centres in order to promote the region as a business destination.
