The FIFA World Cup runners-up stayed at the luxury five-star hotel last February.

The French national football squad arrived at the Hotel Byblos Gvadalpin on 4 February 2008 to prepare for the friendly match with Spain held on 6 February at Malaga’s La Rosaleda Stadium.

Thirty international players, including stars such as Diarra, Viera, Anelka and Henry, together with the coaching and managerial team, had the opportunity to enjoy the luxury facilities of this well-known hotel, accustomed to receiving famous personalities since its opening.

The entire squad stayed in comfortable rooms in a relaxing atmosphere, since the hotel is set in a private residential estate surrounded by golf courses, making it a real oasis of peace and quiet.

The international players were seen in the hotel’s spa facilities, boutiques and restaurants, as well as in its communal and outdoor areas, until a few hours before the start of the match.
