The province’s flagship service industry, formally known as "Hostelequip-ExpoAehcos", has combined forces with Aeplayas (the beach company association of Malaga), to become H&T, with the aim of strengthening and giving a new boost to the industry.
H&T, a tradeshow specializing in equipment, services, food and beverages for the hospitality and tourism industries, is scheduled to be held at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) from 17-19 March 2013, offering hospitality and hotel professionals and companies in Andalusia and the Costa del Sol a great opportunity to do business.
Under the same roof, H&T will include the latest trends and developments in equipment, services, food and beverages, and technology solutions for the hospitality industry and related sectors. The show will yet again congregate buyers and vendors just before the start of the high season for tourism in Malaga and on the Mediterranean Coast.
Along these lines, Maria del Mar Martin, head of the department of economy, revenue and human resources of Malaga City Council, has stressed the importance of the tourism and hospitality industries, remarking that "it’s not only one of the keystones of the province of Malaga’s economy, but also of that of Andalusia and Spain in general".
H&T will include a wide range of products and services including the following: kitchen equipment and kitchenware; furniture and decoration; lingerie and clothes; refrigeration; sports and other kinds of facilities; vending; bathrooms, leisure and recreation; technology and computer management; and food and beverages, among others. In addition, the show will have a broad programme of parallel activities, and a networking area.
