The Seville-based event production company Eventisimo was recently commissioned to organise and stage the Madrid fixture of the Urban Mountain Bike Free Riding Series, sponsored by Nissan on the occasion of the launching of the new Qashqai. The event, which was held in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium’s outdoor car park from 2-3 May 2008, attracted in the region of 5,000 spectators.
The course for the Qashqai Urban Challenge, which has already been held in Milan and Munich, was built in the outdoor car park of Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Spectators were treated to the amazing acrobatics of more 40 young riders along the 200-metre course, comprising sand ramps and wooden bridges, with 15-metre jumps.
Eventisimo Organises Nissan Qashqai Challenge
This second urban mountain bike free riding series has a total of five fixtures. After the Milan, Madrid and Munich fixtures, Paris will be the venue for the fourth challenge event, before the final to be held in London on 24 May.
