The Emperador Hotel in Madrid, located in the emblematic Gran Via, has just launched its new website.

With FITUR – one of the world’s most important tourism fairs – currently in full swing, tourism companies and operators are making the most of the event to showcase their new products and services. At the show, the Emperador Hotel will also be presenting its new website. With a modern look and feel, special attention has been given to the website’s user friendliness and navigation system.

Descriptive images of the hotel, full information on guest rooms, event and celebration RFP forms, the latest promotions, an image gallery and a press section are just some of the website’s new features. In addition, the website also includes an ungraded booking engine, whose aim is to provide more varied informacion on available services.

In keeping with the current trends, the website also puts the accent on social media, including guest comments and content sharing, as well as a Twitter account (with more than 1,100 followers) and a profile on Facebook (with more than 1,600 fans), where users can contact and interact with the property directly, as if it were an extension of its client hospitality service.

Furthermore, the website allows visitors to make a booking and post the confirmation of their stay on social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin, to warn their friends about their trip to Madrid, in order to obtain recommendations and, in this way, virally market the hotel brand.

Last but not least – and as part of its new technological functionalities – the website has also been enabled for mobile devices so as to facilitate bookings made via BlackBerrys, iPhones, Smartphones or Android devices.

The Emperador Hotel’s sister property in Argentina – the Emperador Hotel in Buenas Aires – has also launched a new website. With 265 guest rooms, excellent function rooms, and top-class facilities, this 5-star property is located in the exclusive neighbourhood of Recoleta, where many of the city’s art galleries, museums and shops are to be found.
