Seville’s Royal Golf Club will be hosting the Spanish Open 2008, one of the most important fixtures in the country’s sporting calendar, from 1-4 May. De Boer has been chosen to supply and assemble the temporary structures for the tournament’s players and spectators.

Once again, De Boer will have the opportunity to demonstrate its capacity to provide temporary housing solutions at one the country’s most prestigious sporting events.

Spanish Open 2008
Seville’s Royal Golf Club has hosted the WGC-World Cup 2004 and the Seville Open 2006, among other tournaments. Located in a marvellous setting in the municipality of Alcala de Guadaira, close to the River Guadaira and the Oromana Natural Park, the club has one of the best courses in Europe. Designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, the 18-hole par 72 course has an overall distance of 7,116 yards.

With two million euros up for grabs, the Spanish Open offers the 8th largest purse in the PGA European Tour, comprising 29 tournaments. Players ranked in the first 65 will classify for a prize.

Facilities provided by De Boer
On the occasion of the Spanish Open 2008, De Boer will be assembling more than 2,500sqm of temporary structures, featuring a President for the VIP area, as well as several Pyramids and Alu Halls for housing shops, cafeterias and the press centre, among other services.
