De Boer to Provide Three Press Centres for the UEFA EURO 2008

Europe is getting ready for the UEFA EURO 2008, one of the most important football tournaments in the world, which will be held in Austria and Switzerland from 7-29 July. De Boer’s services have been engaged to provide three temporary press centres in Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck.

Once more, De Boer has positioned itself as an expert in providing corporative hospitality solutions for national and international sporting events.

UEFA Euro 2008 and De Boer
Adapting its products to the tournament’s characteristics and UEFA guidelines, De Boer has designed a series of temporary hospitality facilities adapting perfecting to the needs of the event.

In Vienna, De Boer will assemble a 3,200m2 Emperor marquee with two floors so as to optimise the use of available space. In Salzburg, two different temporary structures will be assembled, including a 30m-wide Jumbo Hall. In Innsbruck, an Alu Hall will be used for housing international press facilities.

In all, De Boer will be providing 1,500m2 of temporary structures for housing 1,500 journalists and photographers, complete with a catering service.

De Boer has a proven track record in different corporate and sporting events, including the UEFA EURO 2004 (Portugal), the FIFA World Cup 2006 (Germany), the Volvo Masters (Spain), the KLM Open (Holland) and Le Mans 24-hour car race (France), among others. De Boer has also participated in the 2007 G8 Summit in Germany, where it assembled an 8,500m2 press centre for over 5,000 journalists.

De Boer sponsors Barcelona’s Royal Polo Club
After nearly three years of collaboration, De Boer has become the official sponsor of the Barcelona Polo Classic, to be held at the city’s Royal Polo Club from 2-11 May.

For the occasion, De Boer will be providing several Pyramid structures housing the players’ lounge.
