Dani Garcia’s Calima Restaurant Reopens at Gran Melia Don Pepe

Captained by the renowned one-star Michelin chef Dani Garcia, last year's winner of the National Gastronomic Award, Calima reopened for the 2010 season on 23 March.

Housed in Marbella’s Gran Melia Don Pepe Hotel, the restaurant reopened on 23 March, after remaining closed during the winter months. During this time, the Malaga chef has been preparing the new season, as well as participating in Spain’s chief gastronomic forums and fairs. In addition, this coming April Garcia will receive the Gourmetour Award.

Since opening in 2005, Calima has consolidated its position as one of Andalusia’s top restaurants, standing out for its creative, innovative cuisine, with a touch of tradition. Located at the Gran Melia Don Pepe Hotel, on the promenade of Marbella, the restaurant also affords clients splendid views of the Mediterranean, as well as heavenly food.
