The FAD is an independent institution founded in 1903 by Barcelona’s cultural avant-garde with the purpose of promoting the decorative arts. Since 1999, the FAD is located in the Convent dels Àngels, a 16th-century gothic building with a rich and intense history.

Located in the installations of the Laieta Sports Club, next to the Camp Nou Stadium at the top of the Diagonal, the restaurant seats up to 100 people, and its two function rooms have a maximum capacity of 200.

With an area of 100,000sqm including the Convention Centre and the Auditorium, the centre can accommodate up to 15,000 delegates.

The basement features two different spaces: PLATÓ and HOME, in addition to the HALL area. Likewise, it has a 17sqm terrace whose design combines colonial wood with metallic industrial elements which give it light, ideal for coffee breaks.
