Main Meeting and Event Facilities:
Santander Exhibition Centre:
Opened in 2002, the 6,400sqm centre is equipped with cutting-edge technology and is adapted to people with mobility problems. Among other facilities, the centre features two large venues – Sardinero and Bahia – with floor areas of 2,660 and 2.540sqm, respectively.
Santander Sports Centre:
This spectacular building has 6,000 seats. When part of the court is used, the venue can seat up to 10,000 people.
Cantabria Festival Hall:
Opened in 1991, it is one of the best venues of its kind in Spain. The hall has two facilities, equipped with simultaneous translation booths and audiovisual equipment, with a floor space of 1.600 and 450sqm and a seating capacity for 1,670 and 570 people, respectively, in addition to a third facility seating 125 people.
Located between the city centre and El Sardinero, it is one of the city's most emblematic buildings. The palace has two venues – Royal Hall and Gala Dining Room – with a banquet seating capacity for 110 and 50 guests, respectively.
