Malaga to Host Two New Congresses Addressing Medical Education and Hypertension in 2009

Malaga’s Trade Fair and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has been chosen as the venue in 2009 for two medical congresses for national and international experts and professionals: the annual congress of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), and the National Hypertension Congress organised by the Spanish Hypertension Association-Spanish League for the Fight Against Arterial Hypertension (SEH-LELHA).

Other future events that have been confirmed include two seminars on menopause and rheumatology, to be held in 2010, and a meeting of European GPs and a national oncology congress, both scheduled for 2011.

Fifth edition of the International Cultural Tourism Fair to include over 100 destinations
The 5th edition of the International Cultural Tourism Fair (FITC’08), due to be held at FYCMA from 18-21 September 2008, will include a broad range of tourist and cultural products and services, including 100 cultural destinations, as well as tourist industry projects and a series of seminars and roundtables for trade professionals. In addition, a number of leisure activities have been organised for the general public.

Fifth edition of SIMed 08 from 9-12 October
FYCMA will be hosting the 5th edition of the Mediterranean Real Estate Trade Show (SIMed), keyed to trade professionals and the general public, alike, from 9-12 October 2008.

As in previous editions, the companies Alei-Grupo Vera, Salsa and Sando will be sponsoring the event, which will include a parallel programme of activities designed to boost business and knowledge exchanges.
