FIBES Participates in ICCA workshop in Helsinki
In line with its ongoing marking strategies, the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) has again participated in one of the most relevant international conferences and conventions forums in the business tourism industry.
This time, the forum was the ICCA workshop, held in Helsinki from 2-4 September, attended by the representatives of 11 venues and 11 buyers.
The main aim of this encounter was to provide ICCA members with profitable business opportunities, as well as to explain to the buyers the benefits of working with ICCA members.
FIBES' Congress Department Manger, Ms Mª del Mar Carnero, took part in this workshop which offered both buyers and service providers an excellent opportuntity for face-to-face meetings and for discussing the possibility of future collaboration.

As a useful management tool, the buyers were finally asked to provide a list of relevant information, Including their local counterparts, their organization's structure, the criteria used when choosing venues for future events, decision-making as regards future congresses, etc. Additionally, the venues or service providers provided ICCA's Main Office with a business profile.
Furthermore, Ms Carnero took the opportunity to inform the buyers about FIBES' new enlargement – which will be ready by 2011 – allowing the Southern Spanish venue to host multitudinous conferences and cultural events.
