Ancient Civitas Romanorum, "Sisebuto" to the Goths, Ceuta is located in North Africa at a short distance from the Peninsula, with which there are good sea and air links. Shopping in Ceuta is also worth a special mention, due to the fact that as a free port it is one of the cheapest places in Spain, together with Melilla and Andorra.

Taking into account this unique cultural heritage, along with the city's restaurants serving delicious local cuisine, enviable climate with over 300 days of sunshine, vibrant nightlife, hospitable atmosphere, and choice of leisure activities, with the accent on water sports, it is not difficult to understand why Ceuta is such a popular MICE destination.

Then, beyond the city's frontiers, Morocco beckons, offering business tourists many options from daytrips to the medinas of Tangiers and Chefchaouen and cultural tours of the imperial cities of Fez, Marrakech, Rabat, Meknes and Casablanca to trekking through the Rif and 4x4 raids in the lands beyond the Atlas Mountains.
