The four-star El Montanya Resort & Spa, a property located in Seva (Barcelona) with excellent event and leisure facilities, has just launched a special promotion: all corporate clients booking their meetings in January, February or March will be given a complementary tour of the Esteve Duran Observatory.

Astronomy is one of the sciences that is currently undergoing a boom, as well as being one of the most popular. The public in general has an increasingly greater need to know about the Universe. With the aim of satisfying this growing demand, the Observatori Esteve Duran Private Foundation was established in the framework of the observatory.

The Esteve Duran Observatory is one of the few centres of its kind in the world that simultaneously satisfies two of modern society’s needs: on the one hand, scientific research, and on the other the dissemination and teaching of astronomy. To this end, the observatory is equipped with the largest and most technically advanced telescope in Catalonia.
