3.Sail and team
Created by Business Yachtclub, in collaboration with their exclusive partner Funny Pop, the aim of this training and motivation programme is to develop management skills through sailing.

Based on a business case study, the participating teams are obliged to make decisions of a corporate nature and play out a number of roles. In a leisure and sports context, this allows them to address personal efficiency skills (self-control, decision-making, time management, adapting to changes, etc,), interpersonal skills (teamwork, communication, leadership, etc.) and business skills (business vision, performance orientation, resource management, etc.).

This outdoor training activity combines theory – workshop sessions – with practice – port and sailing sessions. Both the indoor and the outdoor sessions are designed in terms of the skills the client wishes to develop.

During sailing sessions, the participants – divided into teams – man different boats (J80s) and, accompanied by expert skippers, are expected to face up to different challenges of a business nature in an environment as ever-changing as the sea (wind, waves, etc.).

The programme ends with an analysis of the activities undertaken, the drawing up of conclusions and the design of an action plan by the participants. All in a setting as unique as Barcelona’s Port Vell and the sea, radically different from day-to-day business.
