The Costa del Sol’s tourist board has recently organised an inspection trip for a group of secretaries working for important Portuguese companies, with the object of promoting the destination’s event-related facilities and services.
Event and meeting industry This initiative, in which the Spanish Tourist Office in Lisbon and the Andalusian Tourism Agency have also collaborated, has allowed important Portuguese companies belonging to different sectors, including advertising, energy and cosmetics, to get to know first-hand what the area’s has to offer as regards culture, cuisine and accommodation with an eye to organising their events, encompassing incentive travel, product launches, conventions and training courses, on the Costa del Sol.
