The 10th International Endovascular Surgery Refresher Course was held at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital from 22-23 March. The course was organized by the Department of Angiology and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, in collaboration with the Departments of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation, Intensive Care, Cardiology, Neurology and Nephrology.
During the course, several surgeons from Spain and abroad carried out complex endovascular procedures live, using the latest in technology. In parallel, a number of excellent keynotes were delivered.
SONO collaborates in endovascular surgery course
The Angiology and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Department of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital commissioned SONO to provide AV services and technical support during the course: transmitting the SDI video signal from the operating theatres to the auditorium, using five cameras for filming and broadcasting; and installing sound systems in the auditorium and operating theatres, in addition to image management by means of the FOLSOM presentation system.
