Several recent studies have disclosed that 54% of companies are cutting back spending on business meetings. Faced with this reality, Ultramar Express Event Management has designed a product called Convention Express, consisting of a new meetings and event formula keyed to saving time and money on transport, hotel accommodation and venue rental. Clients can obtain saving of up to 30% on meeting costs.
This cost reduction is obtained thanks to the company’s capacity of negotiation and a series of factors such as the choice of a less sought after destination closer to the client’s central office, and substituting high-speed train travel for air travel. As regards accommodation, priority is given to factors such as the closeness of the hotel to the train station, and the range of services it provides, so as to reduce the number of service suppliers to a minimum.
