Font size A-A+"Fall in Love with Seville" is the slogan that was chosen by the regional tourist office on occasion of the World Tourism Day (WTD), which is celebrated every 27 September in Seville.
As in the previous four years, the Seville-based event and communication agency Es.cultura participated actively in organizing activities and promoting the WTD. Actors and entertainers distributing fliers, designing and producing promotional material such as children’s tourist guides, fans and other merchandising items, were just some of the company’s contributions.
Actors playing the part of famous people associated with Seville – the Catholic Kings Isabel and Fernando, King Pedro I “The Cruel”, the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, Isabel of Portugal, Almutamid, Itimad, Christopher Columbus, Rodrigo of Triana, and the court jester – who, distributed in emblematic areas of the city (Plaza Nueva, Plaza de San Francisco, Calle Sierpes, Calle Tetuán, Campana, Plaza del Triunfo), told passers-by anecdotes about their experiences in Seville. In other parts of the city, entertainers distributed promotional material and creative merchandising items.
