The forum is made up of the province of Malaga’s chief associations, including the Costa del Sol Hoteliers’ Association, the Business Confederations of Andalusia and Malaga, and the Centres of Tourism Initiatives of Marbella and Torremolinos.
The need for a forum of this kind arises from the concern of professionals working in the local tourist industry over the lack of effective sewage disposal systems in the province of Malaga, especially on the Costa del Sol.
On 18 October the forum’s second meeting will be held, to which all the actors involved are invited so as to get to know firsthand the industry’s worries and concerns. The meeting will be held at 11am at the Hotel Melia Costa del Sol in Torremolinos.
