Makyre Eventos Awarded Master Popularity Prize 2011 The Malaga-based agency Makyre Eventos has been awarded the Master Popularity Prize 2011 in recognition of its excellent track record.

Acknowledging their professional and social track record, what all the companies awarded Master Prizes have in common is that they satisfy a series of ethical and professional requirements, the most important being the positive professional image that they project, their commitment to social responsibility, the absence of labour disputes, their evolution over the years, and job creation

Makyre has been awarded this prize for its image, service quality and prestige in the meetings and event industry. For Macarena Regueira, director of Makyre, the prize acknowledges the agency's work over the last eight years and will undoubtedly serve as a powerful stimulus to continue working along the same lines. The agency's client and event portfolio includes the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga, Eco Fashion Malaga, Malaga City Council's Tourism Department, the Gala Dinner following Antonio Banderas' Easter Address, and the Charity Concert given by Montserrat Caballe, among others.

About the Master Prizes
Together with Makyre, prize winners have included some 30 companies chosen by a jury usually comprising official institutions related to the business world, such as business confederations, chambers of commerce, business associations, official colleges, etc. The provincial government, the city council of the provincial capital and the most important town council of each province also participate in the selection process.
